Salmonella in Peanut Butter?

And they are supposed to feed this as free lunch for school children, or those who get free lunch in school. What are they trying to do kill all the ones who gets free lunch? The government are giving money to this people so that they have something to eat, now they want them dead? Am I the only one seeing the pattern here?

First of all how the heck is salmonella get into the peanut butter? Next thing I will hear about peanut butter is the FDA will add another way to process the already process peanut butter to say that to kill what ever gets into it after roasting. Guess what, why not fix the problem some other way instead of making all the food bad for human consumption. Furthermore, where are billionaires getting the food they are eating? If their house help shop in a regular grocery stores they will be eating the same thing, but somehow they are not affected by this. Do they fly in places that you can eat organic food for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Highly likely if you ask me, I don't trust the organic they sell in the grocery stores either. Mass production is not organic in my opinion.

You better pack your children lunch and do not trust the food they are feeding in school. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about it.

the food out there is indeed scary...
people are becoming less responsible regarding food for children... i don't understand why
remember the china milk scandal?
or the classic food with textile coloring to attract children is still an issue in some countries...

I didn't qualify for free lunch. However, my kids eat nothing BUT peanut butter for lunch - everyday. I think it comes down to the work ethic of the employees not the billionaires. This younger generation now-a-days have NO work ethic or morals or a care of anyone except their paycheck.

Thanks for the comments Mia, I'm coming down to those who works for FDA. Next thing they will do is add another way to process the peanut butter. Isn't it their job to inspect the condition of this factories and processing plants? Yes, their employees are not doing their job however, with this incident I bet that they will implement additional way to process our already process food.

Thanks dsy, I agree with you. What is the need for all of this, but simply power over everything.

Ummm, wow that's quite a conspiracy theory. One I really don't believe and think is absurd. Of course the government isn't trying to kill the poor people. Remember, the poorer the people, the more control the Governemnt has.

Now, if this were in the rich school, or targeting rich kids - then you might be on to something.

As it is, it's just a horrible horrible mistake.

The best answer - don't rely on Government for you food, that's not what they were put in place for. Take personal responsibility for your own care.

That exactly is what I expect from the people like you, (sleep) sugar coating everything and thinks that the government have to take of it's people. Please read the definition of govern and make sure you go deeper than dictionary or Wikipedia. Oh yea, try the CONSTITUTION. I have nothing to for you here, be a puppet I can care less. However, I do care for those people who are trying to depend the constitution of this country. You better watch out, your neighbor maybe one of this so called terrorist. Yup, terrorist my ass. Try digging into your politicians accounting records, you will find out how much they spend paying these terrorist to pass the patriotic act. Conspiracy theory, humbug! it's happening you are just too blind to see it.
